Cambodia, Thailand Jointly Install 94 Temporary Border Markers
AKP Phnom Penh, November 17, 2025 —
Cambodia and Thailand have completed the installation of 94 temporary border markers, accounting for approximately 56 percent of the planned total, according to a senior official from Cambodia’s State Secretariat of Border Affairs.
The markers were placed along the border between markers No. 52 and No. 59 in Kamrieng district, Battambang province, which borders Thailand’s Chanthaburi province. The joint field operation took place from Nov. 8 to 17, 2025.
The two countries agreed to install 166 temporary markers in total, and the remaining work will continue in the near future, the official confirmed.
