GDCE Promotes Digitalisation of Customs Procedures at 3rd Cambodia Customs Forum
AKP Phnom Penh, November 15, 2025 -- The General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE) and Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) co-organised the 3rd Cambodia Customs Forum to promote the progress of digitalisation of customs procedures and public service delivery to improve trade facilitation.
The forum was held on Nov. 14 under the presidency of GDCE’s Director General H.E. Kun Nhim, CCC’s President Neak Oknha Kith Meng, who is also Chairman of the Private Sector Coordinating Committee for the Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF) Mechanism.
This important forum was also attended by relevant officials of the GDCE, representatives of private companies, associations, businessmen, national and international traders, and many other stakeholders.
The forum aims to promote the progress of digitalisation of customs procedures and public service delivery to improve trade facilitation, compliance, and the business environment in Cambodia, as well as provide opportunities for discussion and feedback on practical implementation.
H.E. Kun Nhim briefed the participants on GDCE’s major progress in recent years on the digitalisation of customs procedures and public service delivery and the implementation of 14 measures related to trade facilitation under customs jurisdiction that the Prime Minister put forward at the 19th Royal Government-Private Sector Forum.
CCC’s President Oknha Kith Meng praised the significant progress and adjustments in simplifying customs procedures, creating a more convenient environment for investors to conduct their import and export transactions.
