Member of the National Assembly for Banteay Meanchey Provincial Constituency, H.E. Ke Kim Yan, has called upon local authorities to intensify their focus on citizens' needs, ensuring challenges are addressed promptly while actively safeguarding Cambodia’s continued peace and sovereignty.

The directive was issued during a meeting with officials in Poipet City on Thursday afternoon.

H.E. Ke Kim Yan, who is also Member of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King, extended greetings and best wishes on behalf of Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet. He stressed that the national leadership remains committed to the welfare of civil servants, armed forces personnel, and all citizens nationwide.

The Member of the National Assembly specifically urged officials to strengthen their core administrative duties by enhancing public service delivery to better align with the essential requirements of their communities and the policies of the Royal Government.

Furthermore, he instructed local authorities to prioritise the implementation of the Safe Village/Commune/Sangkat Policy. This policy, he noted, is crucial for maintaining peace, political stability, public security, and social order, while simultaneously promoting democratic governance and fostering socio-economic development.

H.E. Ke Kim Yan concluded by emphasising that these concerted efforts reflect the Royal Government’s unwavering commitment to improving livelihoods and reducing poverty at the community level—achievements he stated are a source of national pride for Cambodia.
