Cambodian Leaders Express Gratitude for Royal Donation of Two Historic Residences

Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet have expressed their sincere gratitude to His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, for his generous donation of two royal residences to the Royal Government.
In their joint message dated Nov. 8, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, who also serves as President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King, and Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet highly appreciated the royal gesture, stressing that the two royal residences will be renovated and preserved as national treasures to serve as museums.
“Please allow us to express our profound gratitude to Your Majesty, who has always bestowed royal treasures upon the Royal Government of Cambodia and continuously dedicated himself to the well-being of the Cambodian people,” they wrote.
The two royal residences, noble legacies of His Majesty the late King-Father Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk (Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh), are located in Village 3, Sangkat Chaktomuk, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
