Cambodian Tourism Minister Calls on London Embassy to Drive Tourism and Investment

Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism, H.E. Hout Hak, has urged the nation’s embassy in London to spearhead a renewed push to promote the country's tourism and investment opportunities across the United Kingdom.
The request was raised during the Minister’s visit to London, where he is leading a delegation to the World Travel Market (WTM), a premier global travel industry event. In a meeting with H.E. Mrs. Tuot Panha, Cambodia’s Ambassador to the UK, and her team, Minister Hout Hak outlined a strategic vision for enhancing Cambodia's international profile.
Minister Hout Hak urged embassy officials to intensify outreach to the British public and other nations within its jurisdiction, highlighting Cambodia's diverse tourism potential and attractive investment landscape. He emphasised the need to showcase the country's unique cultural assets, notably the renowned hospitality and warmth of the Cambodian people, as a cornerstone of the nation's appeal.
The Minister also called for a proactive communications strategy to address and correct misinformation that could potentially harm the perception of Cambodia's tourism sector.
During the meeting, H.E. Hout Hak conveyed formal greetings and well-wishes from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to the Ambassador and the entire embassy staff.
The Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia is responsible for developing and managing the nation's tourism policy, promoting Cambodia as a premier cultural and eco-tourism destination, and fostering sustainable growth within the industry.
The Cambodia Tourism Board is the national tourism marketing and promotion agency tasked with implementing strategic campaigns to attract international visitors and investment to the Kingdom.
