Cambodian Red Cross President Provides Relief to 1,783 Vulnerable Families
AKP Phnom Penh, November 09, 2025 --
Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), has authorised urgent humanitarian assistance for 1,783 vulnerable families across Rattanakiri and Mondulkiri provinces.
The decision follows direct requests for support from the provincial red cross branches. The aid will be distributed to 850 families in Rattanakiri and 933 families in Mondulkiri.
The distribution effort will be overseen by a delegation from the CRC headquarters, led by H.E. You Lana, Second Deputy Secretary-General. The relief operation is scheduled to take place over three days, commencing Nov. 10 and concluding on Nov. 12, 2025.
Each recipient family is slated to receive a package containing essential food supplies, including: 30 kilogrammes of rice; one case of instant noodles; and other necessities.
