Cambodian NA President Sends Condolence Message to Thai Counterpart

Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended her condolences to her Thai counterpart H.E. Wanmuhamadnoor Matha over the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Thailand, on 24 October 2025 at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok at the age of 93,” she wrote.
Samdech Khuon Sudary added that Her Majesty led an extraordinary and inspiring life. Her Majesty was widely recognised for her contributions to rural development, traditional craft, and environmental conservation, which brought lasting benefits to the country. Her Majesty will be affectionately remembered for her dedication to the welfare of the Thai people.
“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on my own, I would like to convey my deepest and most sincere condolences to the National Assembly, the Royal Government and the People of the Kingdom of Thailand and especially to the bereaved royal family for this great loss,” she concluded. “May the soul of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother rest in eternal peace.”
