AKP Phnom Penh, October 28, 2025 -- The leaders of Cambodia and Thailand are committed to respecting and upholding the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration, which provides a framework for both countries to work toward peace, cooperation, and prosperity.
Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and his Thai counterpart, H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, reaffirmed their steadfast commitment during their bilateral meeting this morning in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.
On the occasion, both leaders discussed the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration, which was signed on Oct. 26, 2025 and witnessed by H.E. Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, and H.E. Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

He stated that the immediate task for both sides is to work closely together to ensure the full and faithful implementation of the Joint Declaration.
The Cambodian Premier further stressed that the implementation of the actions stipulated in the Joint Declaration is a shared responsibility and obligation of both sides.
