Cambodian NA President Extends Congratulations to Germany on 35th National Day

Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, yesterday sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Ms. Julia Klöckner, President of the German Bundestag, on the celebration of the 35th National Day (Oct. 3).
“On behalf of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on my own behalf, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations and felicitations to you, your colleagues, and the people of the Federal Republic of Germany on the historic commemoration of the 35th National Day (German Unity Day),” she wrote.
Samdech Khuon Sudary spoke highly of the bilateral ties between the two countries which have grown from strength to strength with remarkable achievements over decades from trade and investment to people-to-people ties, underlining that Germany is now one of the key development partners of Cambodia.
“Regarding our parliamentary cooperation, we have seen growing cooperation through bilateral exchanges at both bilateral and multilateral platforms. I am confident that these existing ties will continue to expand and deepen, bringing concrete benefits to our two countries and peoples,” she added.
The Cambodian National Assembly President concluded her message with best wishes for H.E. Ms. Julia Klöckner’s good health and continued success as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the Federal Republic of Germany.
