Cambodia-Thailand GBC Secretariat Meeting Convened in Koh Kong Province
AKP Phnom Penh, September 07, 2025 —
The General Border Committee (GBC) Secretariat Meeting commenced this afternoon at 01:25 p.m. in Cambodia’s Koh Kong province.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this meeting aims to further discuss enhancing the effectiveness and mutual trust, and confidence in implementing the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand.
The Cambodian delegation is led by Major General Nhem Boraden, chairman of the Secretariat (GBC), and the Thai delegation is headed by Lieutenant General Nuttapong Praokaew, chairman of the Secretariat (GBC).
The GBC Secretariats of both sides have exchanged documents in advance to prepare for the discussion in the GBC Secretariat Meeting that will take place from Sept. 7 to 9 to prepare for the 18th Cambodia-Thailand GBC Meeting scheduled for Sept. 10, 2025, with Cambodia as the host.
