Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many Visits Military Families at Border

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service, H.E. Hun Many, led a delegation today to meet and provide support to 728 military families stationed along the border in Kampong Speu province.
The delegation, which included Kampong Speu Governor H.E. Dr. Cheam Chansophorn and other provincial leaders, reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to the welfare of military personnel and their families.
During his visit, Hun Many conveyed greetings from top national leaders, including Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate and President of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King; Cambodian Red Cross President Samdech Kittiprittpundit Bun Rany Hun Sen; and Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet.
He stressed that the nation’s leadership is deeply invested in the well-being of the military families serving at the border.
In his address, H.E. Hun Many underscored the critical importance of national unity and public trust in the Royal Government of Cambodia to protect the country's peace and territorial integrity. He urged the armed forces to remain resolute and resilient in the face of ongoing challenges, including alleged incursions by Thai forces.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the Royal Government’s comprehensive approach, which involves managing military, diplomatic, and public opinion fronts to safeguard Cambodia's sovereignty.
H.E. Hun Many also called on Royal Government officials and citizens to closely monitor the Cambodia-Thailand border situation and to support the Royal Government’s peaceful, diplomatic approach.
"The strength and voice of national unity are a powerful force supporting the Royal Government's focus on peaceful resolutions," he stated. "The collective resolve of our people to defend the nation must align with the Royal Government’s commitment to diplomacy and peaceful solutions."
The visit served to both honour the service of the armed forces and reinforce public confidence in the Royal Government’s leadership during challenging times.
