Cambodia Highly Values Friendship and Cooperation with Viet Nam

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Independence Day.
“On behalf of the CPP and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to you, and through you, to the CPV and the friendly people of Viet Nam on the auspicious occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam,” he wrote in message dated Aug. 25.
This historic occasion reflects the strength and unity of the Vietnamese people in building a prosperous, modern, and resilient nation under the wise and steadfast leadership of the CPV over the past eight decades, he added.
“I firmly believe that under your visionary leadership, the CPV will continue to steer the country toward its vision of becoming a high-income nation by 2045,” he underlined.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen reaffirmed that Cambodia deeply values the long-standing bonds of friendship and cooperation with Viet Nam in all fields and at all levels under the spirit of good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability.
“I am firmly confident that the close ties of friendship and cooperation between our two parties, states, and peoples, which have been nurtured and strengthened by generations of leaders and people of our both countries, will be further deepened for the mutual benefit of our peoples and for peace, stability and prosperity in our region and beyond,” he emphasised.
