AKP Phnom Penh, August 18, 2025 -- 

A delegation of 19 Cambodian Taekwondo athletes, coaches, and referees has travelled to Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam, to compete in the 17th ATF Taekwondo Championships (WT) to be held from Aug. 18 to 21, 2025.

According to the Cambodian Taekwondo Federation, the regional championship provides a vital opportunity for Cambodian athletes to hone their skills and prepare for future international competitions. The event features more than 250 athletes from across the region.

Following this, the Cambodian team will also compete in the 21st International Taekwondo Championships from Aug. 22 to 25, which is expected to attract over 350 athletes from various international clubs.

The federation expressed its belief that the team’s participation will help elevate the standing of Cambodian taekwondo on the regional and international stage.
