Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak receives a delegation of Airavata Elephant Foundation led by its Honorary Vice President H.E. Mrs. Men Nearyvudthy at the ministry in Phnom Penh on Aug. 7.

In the meeting, the Minister highlighted his support for wildlife conservation after hearing the report on the activities of the association.

The meeting also discussed and exchanged ideas and cooperation to promote ecotourism in the Rattanakiri region through the conservation of local elephants.

According to H.E. Mrs. Men Nearyvudthy, the association also supports local and international tourists visiting elephants and tourist attractions in the province.

H.E. Huot Hak highlighted that the Ministry of Tourism will support the association in promoting the conservation of elephant species and the potential for ecotourism in the region.
