PM Prak Sokhonn Joins French National Day Celebration

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn represented the Royal Government of Cambodia at the French National Day 2025 celebration hosted by the French Embassy in Cambodia on July 14 evening.
The event, held at the embassy premises in Phnom Penh, was organised by H.E. Jacques Pellet, Ambassador of France to Cambodia.
During the celebration, Ambassador Pellet extended his gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia for its consistent warm friendship and partnership with France.
He also announced the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, bidding farewell to senior royal government officials, development partners, and national and international institutions who have collaborated closely with the French Embassy throughout his tenure.
Ambassador Pellet noted that France's National Day in 2025 served as an occasion to reflect on significant achievements and events of the past year.
These include the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Francophonie Summit, the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence, and the upcoming UN Ocean Conference (UNOC2025).
