Samdech Khuon Sudary Expresses Gratitude to Armed Forces and Their Families

Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led a parliamentary delegation on July 4 to visit frontline troops stationed along the Cambodia–Thailand border in Preah Vihear province.
The visit aimed to offer spiritual and material support to the brave soldiers safeguarding Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Representing the National Assembly and more than 17 million Cambodians at home and abroad, Samdech Khuon Sudary expressed deep pride in meeting the armed forces and local authorities stationed in the Mom Bei area as well as at the Ta Moan Tauch, Ta Moan Thom, and Ta Krabei temples.
Samdech emphasised, “The heroism of our armed forces is vital for lasting peace, socio-economic development, and the well-being of all Cambodians, and it should stand as a role model for current and future generations.”
“There is nothing more valuable than our nation’s independence and sovereignty,” stressed Samdech.
The National Assembly President added that we need to do everything to protect peace and stability. She praised the tireless efforts and sacrifice of the armed forces and their families, which show not just a sense of duty, but also a deep love for the nation.
She also acknowledged the pain of separation from families and the personal sacrifices made in exchange for national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
“We recognise that living far from home is a challenge, yet you have courageously chosen this difficult path to protect our nation. This extraordinary debt of gratitude will never be forgotten.”
Samdech Khuon Sudary added, “Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate; Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister; and the entire Cambodian people always stand firmly behind all our armed forces.”
Samdech Khuon Sudary also extended heartfelt appreciation to the families of the heroic soldiers for their sacrifices and unwavering support.
