Cambodian Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning confirmed the link to his official Telegram channel, following reports that a fraudulent account had been created to impersonate him.

“Please be informed that a fraudster has created a Telegram account impersonating Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, using the name CEO.HUN SEN (Username: @Ceo_hun_sen), and linked it to a fraudulent website — https://Khmercmc-investment.com — encouraging people to invest capital for profit (fraud),” according to a post on Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s official Telegram channel this morning.

The Senate President emphasised that the case is currently under investigation by experts and urged the public to remain vigilant against such scams.

He clarified that his official Telegram channel, which has a blue verification tick, is accessible at:

As of now, Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s official Telegram channel has nearly 775,000 subscribers.
