Cambodian Minister Chea Vandeth Meets Silicon Valley Digital Startups

Cambodia's Minister of Post and Telecommunications, H.E. Chea Vandeth, held a series of meetings with digital startups in Silicon Valley this week as part of his official visit to the United States.
According to a ministry source on May 30, H.E. Chea Vandeth engaged with six prominent tech companies: Levitree, Careerflow.ai, Ulysses, Itsware.com, GuestOS, and other emerging firms. The meetings were facilitated by Plug and Play, a leading innovation platform known for connecting startups with global corporations and its deep roots within the Silicon Valley tech ecosystem.
Discussions during these engagements centered on four primary objectives: Gaining insights into the unique business models of each digital startup; Exploring the application of advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, in product and service development: Identifying potential investment opportunities within the digital startup sector; Promoting Cambodia's e-verification platform, verify.gov.kh, a key component of the nation's digital government initiative.
These meetings underscore Cambodia's commitment to fostering technological collaboration, attracting investment in digital innovation, and accelerating the growth of its digital economy.
