Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet emphasized the need for robust legal measures and psychological awareness to address the challenges posed by rapid advancements in science and technology.

“Science and technology are progressing at an unstoppable pace, but to prevent fraud and exploitation, we must establish effective laws and implement psychological safeguards,” he stated during the inauguration ceremony of the Techo Santepheap Dormitory and other related achievements at Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University, held at Svay Pope pagoda in Phnom Penh this morning.

The Prime Minister acknowledged that while technological advancement brings numerous benefits, it also poses risks that must be managed through strong legal systems, improved education, and the promotion of responsible and humane values.

He also commended Buddhist monks who have been using social media platforms to spread moral teachings and raise public awareness about ethical behavior in the digital age.
