Angkor Project Generates US$56,000 to Support TYDA’s Mission

H.E. Ms. Chring Botumrangsay, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Korea, representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), presented US$ 56,000 in charity funds received from various donors as part of the Angkor Project to the Techo Youth Doctor Association (TYDA).
The Handover Ceremony was held at the MFAIC, with the participation of Assistant Professor Mr. Sou Siphanna, Executive Director of the TYDA and Director of Luang Mae Hospital, as well as representatives from the Personnel Department and the Finance Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
According to the MFAIC, the Angkor Project had been implemented from May 2024 to February 2025, as an activity to promote economic diplomacy with the aim of enhancing culture, tourism, and social affairs by organising three main events: (1) Photo Exhibition "The Face of Cambodia (2) Charity Night "The Odyssey: Cambodia-Korea"; and (3) Art Exhibition "Legacies of Legacy", Photo and Video Shooting at the ancient temples as well as funds donation to TYDA and Siem Reap Orphanage Centre.
