Emirates to Introduce Dubai-Siem Reap Route in June

Emirates announced on Mar. 3 that it will introduce new flight route between Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and Siem Reap province of Cambodia, in a move expected to enhance both tourism and trade between the two nations.
The airline will start three weekly flights – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – from Dubai to Siem Reap province via Bangkok, Thailand from June 3 this year, according to a press release.
Emirates’ service to Siem Reap is optimally timed to offer leisure travellers connectivity via multiple daily operations from France, UK, Spain, Germany, Portugal and Russia, the airline said.
Emirates already operates daily return flights from Dubai to the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh, via Singapore.
Cambodia’s three international airports handled a combined 5.65 million air passengers in 2024, up 39.8 percent from 4.04 million a year before, according to a report from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation.
More than 30 international and domestic airlines operate currently services connecting Cambodia directly to countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), China, South Korea, India, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), among others.
