Cambodia's Securities Market Shows Remarkable Growth

The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) has so far listed 24 companies, facilitating their financing mobilisation with a total of US$475 million from the capital market to expand their businesses as of February this year.
H.E. Hong Sok Hour, CEO of the Cambodia Securities Exchange, shared the updates in an official launch of a subordinated bond listing ceremony in Phnom Penh on Feb. 24.
Eleven (11) of them have listed their equities, while the other 13 have listed their corporate bonds.
“Despite the global economic and geopolitical situation, our market shows remarkable growth. We expect to welcome many new listings of equity and bonds in 2025,” he said.
He added that the average daily trading value in 2024 was about US$130,000, with an average trading volume of about 100,000 shares per day, while the number of trading accounts had jumped to some 60,000 as of January 2025.
“We have set a target to reach 100,000 trading accounts for 2025 and an average daily trading volume of US$100 million by 2030,” he highlighted.
