AKP Phnom Penh, February 02, 2025 --  The Phnom Penh Municipality launched on Feb. 1 the Walk Street along the riverside, from the Cambodian Post Office to the Royal Palace in order to attract more national and international tourists.

The soft opening of the Walk Street was held in the presence of H.E. Khuong Sreng, the Governor of Phnom Penh.

The Walk Street opens every Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM along Preah Sisowath Quai. All types of vehicles are prohibited to enter the area with an aim to enhance and facilitate tourists’ sightseeing experience. 

The Phnom Penh Municipality also plans to set up food stalls, classical music concerts, painting galleries, and circus performances to enrich the tourist experience.
