CDC Licenses Six More Investment Projects Worth Over US$22 Million
AKP Phnom Penh, April 12, 2019 --
Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has licensed six more investment projects worth more than US$22 million.
The update was shared through CDC’s release yesterday, underlining that the new investment projects will provide over 3,000 jobs for Cambodians.
The licensed investments belong to TTHS Rubber Co. Ltd. of US$2.7 million, SAIDI Handbag Co., Ltd. of US$4.5 million, GARCHI HUNG Co., Ltd. of US$2.6 million, KMFOR Recycle Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. of US$5.1 million, WING HUNG TU Industrial (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. of US$2.2 million, and Kirirom Food Production Co., Ltd. of US$5 million.
Located in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Thbong Khmum, Kampong Speu, Preah Sihanouk, and Kandal, they cover the productions of rubber, bag, garment and food.
Specifically, the US$22.1 million investments are expected to create 3,274 jobs for the locals.
