PM Appreciates Progress in Cambodia-ILO Partnership

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has lauded the progress in partnership between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
While presiding over the commemoration of the ILO Centenary and the 50th anniversary of Cambodia's membership in this organisation, the Cambodian Premier said in the past 50 years, Cambodia has ratified 13 labour-related international conventions.
The content of those international conventions have been included in the Cambodian constitution and regulations, he said, adding that Cambodia used to be a full member of ILO Governing Body from 2014 to 2017.
Cambodia has so far fulfilled its obligations in accordance with the ratified conventions as well as attained many achievements in the development of labour sector and shared its experience with friendly countries, he underlined.
According to the Prime Minister, Cambodia has succeeded in creating many jobs for people or 99.3 percent of over 10 million labour forces are employed.
