Cambodia Calls on Countries to Fight Human Trafficking

Royal Government of Cambodia has called on all countries in the region and the world to further cooperate in fighting against human trafficking.
The urge was made by Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and President of the National Committee for Counter Trafficking (NCCT) while presiding over the celebration of the 13th National Anti-Human Trafficking Day (Dec. 12) here in Phnom Penh on Thursday.
Samdech Sar Kheng also requested those countries to join hands with Cambodia in standardisation of support document processing in order to prevent unlawful actions as well as to crackdown human trafficking.
Cambodia is working hard in implementing its strategy and all international pacts to eliminate all cases of human trafficking, especially the trafficking of women and children, across the region and the globe, underlined the deputy prime minister.
He also spoke highly of the national committee’s effort in addressing the problems in country and encouraged it and other relevant ministries and institutions to continue their collaboration so as to bring the achievement to a new level.
