Cambodia, Saudi Arabia to Boost Bilateral Economic, Commercial and Tourism Cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Cambodia are working to further foster bilateral cooperation in economic, commercial and tourism sectors.
The remark was made by H.E. Saud F.M. Al Suwelim, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Cambodia, while paying a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly at NA Palace yesterday.
H.E. Saud F.M. Al Suwelim informed Samdech Heng Samrin that he will try his best to boost bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Saudi Arabia, mainly in the said sector.
The Saudi ambassador also invited Samdech Heng Samrin to pay a state visit in Saudi Arabia in the near future.
For his side, Samdech Heng Samrin lauded the bilateral cooperation between both countries, especially mutual support on international arena, contributing to maintaining peace, security, stability, and regional and global development.
Samdech Heng Samrin thanked the Government of Saudi Arabia for the scholarship provision to Cambodian students to study in Saudi Arabia so far, and requested the country to consider more scholarship opportunities.
He also accepted the invitation for his state visit to the country and will find a convenient timing for it.
