Cambodian Commerce Minister Visits ‘Cambodia: Basket of Wonders’ Pavilion at SIAL Paris 2026
AKP Phnom Penh, October 20, 2026 --
Minister of Commerce H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul visited the Cambodian Pavilion at the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL Paris 2026) on Oct. 19 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in France.
She was accompanied by H.E. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and other members of the delegation. Representatives of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in France, the EU-German GATE project implemented by GIZ Cambodia, Cambodian enterprises and international business partners also attended the visit.
With joint support from the European Union and the German Federal Government, the Ministry of Commerce organised the Cambodian Pavilion under the theme “Cambodia: Basket of Wonders” to enhance Cambodia’s international profile, promote exports and strengthen the country’s competitiveness as a reliable supplier in global markets.
Featuring a prominent design highlighting Khmer identity, the pavilion brings together 16 Cambodian companies showcasing products with strong export potential, including cashew nuts, dried tropical fruits – particularly dried mangoes – pepper, spices, ready-to-cook food products and a range of other premium goods.
The Ministry of Commerce has also arranged business networking tables, product display areas, cultural performances, a trade information desk and live Cambodian cooking demonstrations with food tastings for international visitors.
The pavilion provides an opportunity for international buyers, distributors and investors to explore the potential of Cambodian products and discuss new business opportunities directly with Cambodian enterprises.
The Cambodian Pavilion is located in Hall 7, Stand J-347. SIAL Paris 2026 is being held from Oct. 17 to 21, bringing together nearly 8,000 exhibitors from 130 countries and expecting more than 285,000 trade visitors.
