Ministry of Commerce to Organise 3rd Cambodia Digital Trade Forum and Online Expo Next Month
AKP Phnom Penh, August 27, 2026 -- The Ministry of Commerce has announced that it will organise the 3rd "Cambodia Digital Commerce Forum and Online Exhibition," scheduled to take place from Sept. 11 to 13, 2026, at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Speaking at a press conference on Aug. 26, H.E. Penn Sovicheat, Secretary of State and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, highlighted that the major event will be held under the guiding theme "Promoting Cambodia's Digital Trade Towards 2030."
The forum will be held for the third time on the initiative of the Minister of Commerce to continue the Ministry's efforts to promote digital transformation in trade as well as strengthening the digital trade ecosystem and increasing the ability of Cambodian businesses.
“The purchase of Cambodian products is not just a commercial transaction, but contributes to supporting local enterprises, job creation, income generation, and strengthening the production capacity of the national economy,” he said.
The Ministry of Commerce urges members of the public, entrepreneurs, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), women business leaders, students, and tech enthusiasts to attend, he said.
This year's forum also launched the "Mission 500 Transactions" on the national e-commerce platform CambodiaTrade.com, which aims to transform the promotion of Cambodian products into actual commercial orders and transactions.
According to the Ministry, the September event has received cooperation and support from various partners, including the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, the US and UK embassies, the Asian Development Bank and numerous private-sector representatives.
According to ministry estimates, e-commerce revenue was expected to reach US$1.1 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach US$1.8 billion by 2029.
