Almost 10,000 Athletes Signed Up for Angkor Wat International Half Marathon 2017

AKP Phnom Penh, November 15, 2017 —

Nearly 10,000 athletes will participate in the 22nd Angkor Wat International Half Marathon 2017, to be held on Dec. 3 at Angkor Wat temple, Siem Reap province.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, unveiled the latest figure, adding that it has increased by 10 percent compared to last year.

The registered participants are from more than 70 different countries, including the United Kingdom (600), France (600) and United States of America (400), he pointed out.

The charity sport challenges entail 21 kilometre half marathon, 10 kilometre running, and three kilometre family running.
