100 Cambodian Students To Leave for Their Studies in France

Some 100 Cambodian scholarship students will leave for France from September this year to continue their studies, a press release from the Embassy of France said today.

The Embassy of France in Cambodia and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) have granted scholarships to Cambodian eminent students so that they can pursue their postgraduate studies in French universities in different fields including architecture, law, economics-management, engineering, education, tourism, and photographic art, indicated the press release.

This year, some 20 Cambodian students will benefit from this aid scheme, while 17 others have got the Eiffel scholarships provided by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it added.

These students will join many other Cambodian students who have been studying for one to two years in medical French universities, and this year 35 new medical and pharmacy students have been admitted as interns, it said.

In addition, three Cambodian students has also received the European Union’s Erasmus Mundus scholarships to study in France.
