India Wishes to Cooperate with Cambodia in Information Sector
AKP Phnom Penh, August 07, 2012 –
India is seeking the possibility of cooperation between the Cambodian and Indian Ministries of Information in order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation and exchange experience on the information sector.
The remarks were made known here on Aug. 6 by H.E. Dinesh K. Patnaik, Indian Ambassador to Cambodia during a meeting with Cambodian Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith.
On the occasion, the Indian ambassador praised Cambodia for its rapid development in all fields, especially in the media sector.
In reply, H.E. Khieu Kanharith informed the Indian diplomat that the ministry has sent its officials to join many training courses in India. He also asked the Indian side to further strengthen the cooperation with Cambodia on the information technology (IT) sector.
