2012 ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition

AKP Phnom Penh, August 07, 2012 –

The ASEAN-Korea Centre is organizing the 2012 ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition under the theme “Show Yourself: ASEAN Self-Portrait, Korean Self-Portrait”.

The competition, the fourth of its kind, is open to university students and young artists under the age of 30 in both ASEAN Member States and Korea.

The competition aims to provide a channel for cultural exchanges and enhance mutual understanding between the young generations of ASEAN and Korea through new media.

The 2012 ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition, which receives submissions from July 9 to Sept. 4, is composed of two categories: photography and digital media arts.

Ten selected winners residing in ASEAN Member States will receive a prize of US$300 and they will be invited to join the Opening Ceremony and Exhibition to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea from Nov. 2 to 11.
