NA President Receives a Chinese Delegation

AKP Phnom Penh, August 06, 2012 –

Cambodian President of the National Assembly (NA) Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin received here this morning a delegation of SANTUI Company led by Mr. Wang Feng, SANTUI Deputy Director General.

In the meeting, Mr. Wang Feng said his company is interested in investing in the agricultural sector at Anlong Chhrey development area, Ponhea Krek district of Kampong Cham province, said H.E. Korm Kosal, Chief of Cabinet of the Cambodian NA president.

SANTUI company has invested in Cambodia since 1980, particularly in importing trucks and other heavy machineries, said Mr. Wang Feng.

For his part, Samdech Heng Samrin warmly welcomed the visit of the Chinese delegation, saying that it will contribute to further strengthening and expanding the ties of friendship and solidarity between the two countries and peoples, especially between the private sectors of both countries.

Samdech Heng Samrin also highlighted the key role of private sector in the economic development. He further asked the Chinese side to consider other investment potentialities in Cambodia.

Samdech Heng Samrin accepted Mr. Wang Feng’s invitation to pay a visit in an appropriate time to SANTUI company’s headquarters in Shandong province, China.
