5th ASEAN Quiz Regional Competition Kicks Off

The 5th ASEAN Quiz Regional Competition was opened here this morning under the presidency of H.E. Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information.

Three selected Cambodian students will compete with students from other ASEAN member states during the two-day event.

Questions about the structure, roles and functions of ASEAN will be asked in this regional competition. The official language used during the competition is English.

The ASEAN Quiz first began in Thailand in 2002, then in Brunei Darussalam in 2004, Malaysia in 2006, and the Philippines in 2009.

The ASEAN members are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
