Minister of Information Supports National Cultural Event and Youth Writers’ Works

Cambodian Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith yesterday expressed his support to the Khmer Star Kingdom Awards program and young writers’ works.

In a meeting here on Thursday with the Khmer Star Kingdom Awards program organizer Mr. Chi Seila, H.E. Khieu Kanharith said this event will further encourage the Cambodian artists – actors, producers, writers, presenters, etc. – to continue to improve their capacity and works.

The Khmer Star Kingdom Awards Festival, the 2nd of its kind, is going to be held soon, Mr. Chi Seila told H.E. Khieu Kanharith.

On the same day, H.E. Minister also held talks with a group of young writers who wrote the novel entitled “Elite’s Heart”.

H.E. Khieu Kanharith, who is also a financial supporter for the book publication, appreciated this masterpiece, saying that it provides a lot of information on Cambodian history to the readers.
