Cambodian NA President Departs for Vietnam and Laos

AKP Phnom Penh, July 20, 2012 –

Cambodian National Assembly (NA) President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin left here this afternoon for an official and friendly visit to Vietnam and Laos.

According to a press release of the NA General Secretariat, Samdech Heng Samrin and his entourage will stay in Vietnam from July 20 to 25, and then he will continue his visit to Laos from July 25 to 30.

This trip is aimed to strengthen and expand the traditional bond of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Cambodia-Vietnam and Cambodia-Laos, it underlined.

During the visit, Samdech Heng Samrin is scheduled to meet with top leaders of the government, parliament and parties of the two neighboring countries, and to visit some historical sites, added the press release.
