AKP Phnom Penh, July 05, 2012 –

More Khmer ancient antiques including ancient human bones, and a variety of stone-made materials were put on display for public with free of charge admission here on July 4 at Cambodia’s Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.

According to Deputy Director General of Heritage Department of Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts Mr. Heng Sophady, those ancient antiques were unearthed in Battambang province and put on display with an aim to show the result of research for academic researchers and students as a basic foundation to conduct research or file documents, particularly to train Cambodian archeology students.

He said the project was jointly conducted by Cambodia’s Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and France.
