Cambodia To Host 45th AMM and Other Related Meetings in July
AKP Phnom Penh, June 29, 2012 –
The Kingdom of Cambodia, as the Chair of ASEAN in 2012, will host the 45th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (45th AMM), Post Ministerial Conferences (PMC), 19th ASEAN Regional Forum (19th ARF), 2nd East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (2nd EAS FMM) in Phnom Penh from July 6 to 13.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation dated today, the opening ceremony of the 45th AMM will be presided over by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The 45th AMM/PMC/19th ARF/2nd EAS FMM will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H.E. Hor Namhong, the press release pointed out.
In addition to the above Meetings, it added, Cambodia will also host other ASEAN-related Meetings, as follows:
1. ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting with ASEAN Inter-governmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) Representatives (on July 8, 2012).
2. Meeting of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ) Commission (on July 8, 2012).
3. 13th ASEAN Plus Three (APT) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (on July 10, 2012).
4. 5th Mekong-Japan Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (on July 10, 2012).
5. Mekong-ROK Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (on July 10, 2012).
6. ASEAN-Australia Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
7. ASEAN-Canada Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
8. ASEAN-China Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
9. ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
10. ASEAN-Japan Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
11. ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
12. ASEAN-New Zealand Ministerial Meeting (on July 11, 2012)
