PM Meets a Youth Volunteer Group
AKP Phnom Penh, June 26, 2012 —
Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen held a talk this morning at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center, in Phnom Penh with a group of 1,100 youths who have volunteered to join the country’s mission of providing land titles to people.
In the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his warm welcome to the youth volunteer group to participate in this mission of historical importance, which is part of land reform program in Cambodia.
On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen is committed to accomplish successfully the mission.
The 1,100 youth volunteers, of them 125 are women, are from higher education institutions in Phnom Penh. 730 of them, who have been already trained, will begin their mission on June 28.
As of June 24, more than 300,000 households will be granted land titles, according to the statistics from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.
