PM Departs for G20 Summit in Mexico
AKP Phnom Penh, June 16, 2012 –
A high-ranking Cambodian delegation led by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Chair of ASEAN, left here this morning for the G20 Summit in Mexico.
The G20 Summit, scheduled to be held on June 18-19 in Los Cabos, will discuss topics on: Global Economy and Framework for Strong, Sustainable and Balance Growth; Strengthening the International Financial Architecture and the Financial System, and Promoting Financial Inclusion; Green Growth, Infrastructure, and Food Security; Trade; and Job Creation, H.E. Sry Thamrong, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister said at Phnom Penh International Airport before the departure of the delegation.
During the Summit, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen will address among others, the issue of Food and Fuel’s Price Inequality, Strengthening the International Financial Resources and Promoting Financial Governance, a press release from the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said.
According the delegate minister, the Cambodian premier will hold a bilateral talk with H.E. Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, President of the United Mexican States on June 17.
