Farmers in Kampong Chhnang Province Harvest Dry-Season Rice

AKP Phnom Penh, June 15, 2012 –

Farmers in Kampong Chhnang province, some 90 kilometers northwest of Phnom Penh capital city, harvest their dry-season rice.

According to a report of the provincial agricultural office, farmers across the province have so far harvested some 6,228 hectares of their dry-season rice or equivalent to almost 200 percent of the province’s yearly target with the total output of over 27,400 tons.
